NextGen Ventures is the first innovation and entrepreneurship pitch competition organized by University Malaysia Sabah (UMS). This competition aims to provide a platform for researchers and inventors within our university to showcase and commercialize their intellectual property (IP) and research development to potential industry stakeholders and investors, ultimately transforming academic discoveries into competitive, inclusive, and sustainable real-world solutions.

UMS researchers and inventors who have registered/yet to be registered intellectual property (IP).
The IP’s Innovation Readiness Level should be at least IRL 5 and above
Eager to showcase and commercialise their IPs and translate them into tangible products or services.
